HOW DO I GET THERE: From Tortoli take the main road SS125 south to Cardedu, turn left upon exiting the slip road, continue for approx. 1.6km passing the town of Cardedu on your right hand side and turning right following signs to La Marina di Cardedu. Continue down the long straight swinging right at the end, cross the bridge and continue ahead until the roundabout. Take the second exit (straight ahead) and continue for approx. 2km until arriving at Perda Pera on your left hand side and the parking area on your right.
THE TREK: The trail begins with a choice of two routes from the parking area. The route to the left takes you through the trees and can be a little overgrown. The route ahead is open and follows the dirt track. Both routes arrive at the same point and continue down and over a little stream and along a rocky trail. The trail then ascends until you arrive at the signposts for the archeological sites. The sites are old tomes used by the Nuragic people who lived on the island way back in 1500BC. Impressive views and flat rest areas are on route to these archeological sites and add to make this little trek very rewarding and user friendly.

ATTENTION: The trail ascends past the archeological sites, through a gate and into the woods eventually arriving around the other side of Monte Arista. An extra 30 minutes is required to reach this point and it can be quite demanding. Extra water is needed as there are no springs nearby.
