PATH CONDITIONS: Stoney path next to the sea. Ascend and descend (30 meters) prior to beach arrival
HOW TO GET THERE: Best access by car or scooter then on foot. From Tortoli follow the SS125 south exiting at Cardedu. Turn right off the slip road towards the town of Cardedu, continue for approx. 1.6km until turning right following the sign for Marina di Gairo. Continue along the long straight swinging right at the end, over the bridge until the roundabout. Take the second exit (straight ahead) and continue for approx. 9.3km until arriving at the parking area on the right hand bend before the campsite at Coccorrocci beach
THE TREK: Starting from the last right hand bend that leads to the camp site go through the gap in the trees which is on your left hand when facing the sea. You continue through there for approx. 60m until the path opens up infront of the sea and swings to the left. Continue left for approx. 450m with the sea on your right, negotiate the rocky ascends and descends until arriving at the little beach at the end of the path. Return the same way
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Tent pitch possible from mid September to mid May, access to family friendly beach, excellent sea access, excellent snorkelling opportunities, extended trekking optional, best access by car, scooter or mountain bike, no local bus transfer. Kayak excursions available. Refreshment area 3km from parking area. Supermarket at Cardedu town for supplies
ATTENTION: Reduced access in winter months due to heavy weather conditions. The sea may well block the path to the little beach as well as the beach itself being affected by rough conditions. Be very careful when ascending the rocky path towards the end of the trail
