Description:
There are so many memorable moments on offer here that it is difficult to know where to start. Plenty of archeological sites are found along the routes as well as a plethora of knock-out views, natural monuments, natural springs, waterfalls, old churches, caves, and an abundance of Sardinian wildlife.
This series of sign-posted paths covers a vast area in the heart of Ogliastra. The paths are numbered 1 - 11 and vary in difficulty.
There is good access by car with tarmacced lanes accompanying some of the paths.
The Little Green Train of Sardinia runs through the area and visitors are able to incorporate this into their trekking adventure.
